I’ve noticed other people learn English and French by studying their grammar and stuff; even though sometimes I do that, it’s definitely not my main focus. Therefore, I will share with you how I learn English and French.
The difference
I’d rather study by being involved into the languages, it’s, at least for me, a nice way to learn vocabulary since you get exposed and learn some phrases or idioms that people actually use instead of some old-fashioned textbooks that teach us to speak and, in some cases, behave like we were just some robots programmed to imitate some very common British’s speeches during a business meeting. Don’t get me wrong, it’s still pretty useful, but at the same time, it’s necessary to acquire some knowledge from native sources in order to finally carry out all of your language goals.

Well, I usually watch some TV series and movies and If I know its original language is English, it’s almost mandatory to watch it in English, this way, you get to improve your listening, understand some slangs and you’ll be able to understand things a little bit easier because it’s less complicated when it has context.
The same goes for videogames, interfaces on your devices like your phone or PC, magazines, etc.
We live in a time where it’s easier than never to accomplish whatever you want, and learning languages Is not the exception. You have everything you need in your pockets, so it’s time to use it wisely and perform the process that will guide you to your peak.
That’s my recommendation.
